So, to me, a 'game' is more like a tangible product, like installed software, or a disc. See, my interest in gaming comes from C-RPGs like Skyrim. It should have way more members if people actually appreciated the medium more.

Those who have played the Fabled Lands will know what I am talking about.

That's a masterpiece in this medium.Īn open game world inside a book! What's more, there is 'state-management' using codewords. I have tried CYOA, and numerous similar titles that are available on the Google Play store, and all of them are pretty good. But in my opinion, gamebooks are one of the best mediums. And most people who play TTRPGs scoff at gamebooks, saying it doesn't provide the 'freedom'.
